Always been a bit apprehensive about doing one of these blog things but I'm getting involved tentatively. From what I can see death is on the cards and I found the first six pages of this Kisteva book on amazon today. Some of you may have heard me bang on about abjection before and I don't profess to really follow this essay but something about the wording of it makes it compelling. It definately resonates with me, it is a piece of psychoanalytic writing (lit crit, whatever) but I don't really consume it in that way. It's only the first six pages or so (which is probably about as much of it as I read when I was at uni).
